Marie Curie logo, care and support through terminal illness

Marie Curie Cancer Care say:

For over 70 years, Marie Curie has been delivering expert care, guidance and support to people living with terminal illness and their families, ensuring that they can make the most of their time together in a place of their choosing. Marie Curie provide care and support through their Nursing Service, nine Hospices, information and support services, and volunteer services. They also campaign for better end of life care, and are the UK’s largest charitable funder of research into end-of-life-care.

With support from The Purey Cust Trust, Marie Curie Nurses in York make sure patients nearing the end of their life can be supported at home, and that they are comfortable, free from pain and relaxed in their last weeks, days, and final moments.
